This guide will show you in five easy steps how to start using Blogomator. This quick setup alone is able to get you hundreds of targeted visitors on autopilot. Be sure to complete all five steps.
First of all you should connect your blog and Twitter.
Step 1
Connecting your blog
Login to Blogomator, click “My blogs” icon on welcome page and click “Add new blog” button. Fill all info.
Blog name – just any name to show in Blogomator
URL – address of your blog (like http://your-blog.wordpress.com/ or http://www.my-web-site.com/blog/)
Username – login to your blog’s admin panel
Password – password for your blog’s admin panel
After you’re done, you should see the new blog:

Now you can begin scheduling and posting to this blog.
First of all upload your articles. After you’ve uploaded everything, post articles right away or schedule for future publication. Be sure to setup posting only when your blog is most active. At this point you should have content scheduled for a month or so.
Now it’s time to connect Twitter and enjoy fresh traffic.
Step 2
Connecting Twitter
If you have Twitter account, go to My Twitters link on the Welcome page and add one. Then click on Add New Twitter
Fill the username and password.
That’s all.
If you have premium account, you can enjoy new followers every day. To turn on Twitter Automatic Follower, scroll down to “Premium” section on the welcome page and . Click on Twitter Friend Adder.
Keywords
Put keywords or key phrases your Blog or Twitter is about. One line – one key phrase. This will be used to get new followers automatically. Blogomator will search Twitter for people with same interests and follow them. Most likely they’ll follow you back. This way you’ll get new followers every day. Blogomator will unfollow those, who didn’t follow you back. Everything goes automatically.
Message
Blogomator will send direct message to every new follower. Keep it under 140 characters. Best way is to thank your new subscriber for the following and ask a question. Most people just write something like: Thanks for following, download my free gift here http://www…..
Then select that account in drop down box. Blogomator will post status message to your account about every new blog post. This will give you additional Twitter traffic to the blog.
Start Autofollow Service
Check this box and Blogomator will start getting you followers.
Click Save.
Step 3
Connect Twitter to Your Blog
Go back to welcome page and go to My Blogs
Click Edit button under your blog.
Select your Twitter account in the drop down box near Change twitter status with each new blog post field.
Click Save
Now your Twitter will get new status message about every new post on your blog with a shortened link to the post.
Step 4
Connect RSS to Your Blog
It’s time to connect some RSS feeds to your blog and enjoy its power.
Click on Change RSS Settings link at the bottom of Blog editing screen. You can enter there up to five different feeds. If you would like to filter results by keywords, just type them in Keywords field.
By default, content from feeds goes to Uncategorized folder on your Blog. You can override this by filling the Blog Category field. If category doesn’t exist, don’t worry, Blogomator will create it automatically.
Step 5
Connect Autoresponder to Your Blog
Go to My Blogs and edit existing one
Check the box near Post messages from autoresponder. You will see the Subscribe this email string. You will need to subscribe this address to your autoresponder. This email is unique and all messages coming to it will be automatically added to your blog.

In this example Blogomator shows wtrciw3qyfqa@blogomator.com (you will have another one for your blog). By the way, you can send posts by email to that address. Blogomator will publish them to your blog right away.
Now add this email to your autoresponder as a subscriber. If you don’t know how to do that, here is a tutorial about Get Response and another one about Aweber.
Most of the time there is information at the top or bottom of every autoresponder email message that you don’t want to have on your blog (like the unsubscribe link or an advertisement on top).
In this example we want to delete 3 lines at the top and 9 lines from the bottom of the email. Simply enter:
Remove header lines: 3
Remove footer lines: 9
Insert “more” tag after. Enter how many words you would like to appear in an excerpt. For example, if you enter 50, then only 50 words will appear on your blog main page followed by a link that says “Read more…”. Everything after the “read more” tag will be hidden and readers can follow the link to the rest of the article.
Remove line breaks removes unnecessary line breaks. If your emails are formatted with a line break after every 60 characters, you will want to remove the line breaks to allow your blog to format articles itself.
Here is an example of the difference:
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer
adipiscing elit, sed diam nonummy nibh
euismod tincidunt ut laoreet dolore magna
aliquam erat volutpat. Ut wisi enim ad minim
veniam, quis nostrud exerci tation ullamcorper
suscipit lobortis
As you see, lines just end in the middle. If you check the Remove line breaks box, Blogomator will automatically reformat your blog post, so it looks like this:
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit, sed diam nonummy nibh euismod tincidunt ut laoreet dolore magna aliquam erat volutpat. Ut wisi enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exerci tation ullamcorper suscipit lobortis nisl ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat.
If you turn on the Ignore non-autoresponder emails, Blogomator won’t post emails that don’t come from your autoresponder’s address.
At this point you should have loaded blog with articles. Now let’s move to more advanced stuff with Advanced Quick Start Guide
